Cycled to town today on Miike. With only 3 gears, 2 tiny wheels, 1 working brake and 0 suspension, I actually thought he did quite well! So, I started trying to fix him up today - need to de-rustify, fix brakes, oil, and add some safety stuff. It's going slow, but I have time. If I flop my interview next Wednesday, I'll have all Summer to work on him.
Today was the last ever staff non-contact day - teachers are moderating coursework today, which means that my Mother is also. Thus, I've barely spoken to her at all these last few days. My Mother is extraordinarily dedicated. Yay for her pupils, not so yay for her children.
