Yay! Did the stuff on my to-do list! (Kind of...)
I'm going to try to blog properly. This will be boring, but I really need to brush up my skills. Apologies in advance!
So, this morning my alarm went off at 7am, and I slept in until 8.20. I got up, and then got my sister ready for school. She had a wonky ponytail. I then proceeded to get myself washed and dressed, and started on the three emails I had to write. Whilst at the computer, I also killed some time on facebook and various other pointless websites. Oh, I also went through my Cambridge freshers' pack again. I didn't understand it the first time.
At lunchtime, I cooked lunch. I made a funny omelette, then decided I didn't like it, because I don't like egg. So, I had bread. After lunch, I played around with 'the phone that doesn't have a name yet' and chose Hot Butter's Popcorn to be its ringtone. I then spent the afternoon downloading/editing/fixing stuff on my computer. My Stuffit Expander and Audacity weren't working! Both are now fixed, thankfully. I also had a yoghurt.
After my sister got home, I helped her with her piano practice. I then washed and chopped our homegrown carrots and nommed houmous with carrot sticks with her.
Next, I cooked dinner. That was pretty fun. I also washed the dishes. Meh. My Mother then came home. After dinner, I went along to Hannah's piano lesson. It was really good to see Mohan again. I hadn't seen him since before exams started!
Afterwards, we went to Tesco. Tesco really can't compare to Chinese supermarkets. Anyway, I got pretty worried when I saw they had some Kung Fu Panda DVD... Turns out, it wasn't the actual sequel. (Kaboom of Doom is out next Summer) Phew! I would've been so gutted if I'd missed it in the cinema.
After we got back home, I washed the dishes, killed a honeydew melon, and made my sister some lotus seed thingy. Oh, I also downloaded the most awesome game ever on my phone. It's edumacational too!
Then, I read the news on my Gloogle Reader.
Before blogging, I washed and got changed.
Now I'm blogging.
I will prolly ride the waves of the internetz after this, probably. Or I'll go to sleep. Yay for jetlag!
~ A day in the life of relaxed Cheng, kind of. A day made much brighter by this little girl:
