I'm such a hypocrite - I went shopping this morning. My mum took my sister and her friend to the cinema at Lakeside and I went to the shopping centre. We got there at 10am, but the shops only opened at 11am, so I ended up in Starbucks killing time. I'd never seen Lakeside so empty. Usually it's difficult to walk more than a couple of steps before walking into someone (at least for me it is!) Shopping was a fail: I didn't get anything, apart from sore feet.
Tiger, tiger; I finally updated from Panther to Tiger operating system and I spent most of yesterday updating software. (In order to use iTunes, I needed to update from 10.4 to 10.4.11. Then, I realised that was only for iTunes 7. So, I downloaded iTunes 9, which then said I needed to install the latest Safari in order to use the iTunes store. Before installing Safari, it said I needed to get Quicktime. Before even downloading Quicktime, I was asked to install the newest security update. After 5 download and installs, and severall restarts, I finally had a functioning iTunes. Was it worth it? Probably not.)
